Not long after I graduated high school in 2011, I was encouraged to test the waters of the music industry. I had performed poetry pieces in school concerts and talent shows, and the positive feedback from family and friends prompted me onward. I decided on the stage name 'Nyonyozi', the Runyakole word for ‘star’, and embarked on a new musical journey. Over the course of the five years following 2011 (and before I reverted to Kimi Katiti late 2016), I created YouTube videos, rap remix covers and released singles and EPs. Please enjoy some of my favorite 'Nyonyozi' flashbacks.
